About Allan

Norwood is a wonderful town whose history of community members helping one another and supporting each other, is legendary.  My family has been a long term, integral part of this community, and we are proud of how we have added to the fabric of this great town.  Personally, I have been involved in various organizations in the town, most importantly as a member, and at times, Chairman, of the Finance Commission.

First, I recently retired as an Audit Manager at the Hartford – a Fortune 100 business – so I have plenty of time to devote to my beloved town.  My long career at Hartford gave me experience and insight.  My experience on the Norwood Finance Commission gave me first hand experience with the machinations of another large financial operation – the Town of Norwood.  We can face these challenges together, with a strong Board of leaders guiding us.

Since I am running for political office, I must leave you with a political promise,

I pledge that every decision that comes forth must pass two criteria before I will vote "yes,"

1.) Is it in the best interest of the majority of the Townspeople?
2) Am I sure that neither myself, family or friends will unfairly benefit from my "yes" vote?

If I can say, "yes" to both, I will unabashedly vote, "yes.”  You see that is why they call it "public service."  It is not about me, my ego, or my friends and family.  It is simply about doing what is best for the Town of Norwood, all around.
